The authors imply that, unaided, the same equipment would have produced accuracy in the range of about 10 meters. The report also states that the Japan Aerospace Exporation Agency (JAXA) and Mitsubishi, who have partnered to develop and launch the Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS), have conducted further tests shown that the augmentation system maintains its accuracy with cars driving up to 80 kilometers (48 miles) per hour.
